You can now start counting down the hours instead of days, and almost everyone you talk to this weekend will be talking about the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. San Francisco is bursting at the seams with football fans and the bright orange and bright blue colors of the two competing teams are all through out the city. Tonight (Friday Feb 5th) One Republic will be playing on the City Stage, then the final City Stage performer is the one and only Alicia Keys on Saturday night! With free entry, it will be one packed show!

Off to Union Street We Go...

Union Street is located in San Francisco's Cow Hollow District, which is nestled right up against the Marina District. Only a couple blocks away from another great shopping street, Chestnut Street, Union Street is a great place to start or continue your shopping exploration!

Union Street is a shopping street where you can spend the whole day. Head out in the morning and get your morning workout done at the celebrity favorite indoor cycling sensation, Soul Cycle. After finishing one of their intense cycling class head to Ringovelio Salon & Spa to get a massage and blow-out to prepare for a day of shopping! If you have everything covered but your nails look less then perfect, there are many nail salons to chose from along Union. It is clear that this street is health and beauty conscious due to the many juice bars, beauty salons, and active apparel stores. Activewear giant Nike has a Nike Women's store as well as the other large active fashion brands lululemon and Lucy.

Fitness and health is just one of Union Streets many great themes of the street. If you had a ring put on it recently, Union Street has some of San Francisco best bridal boutiques to say yes to the dress! Sarah Seven has one of her flagship stores on Union, but make sure to make an appointment to try on these trendy and chic wedding gowns. Jinza Couture Bridal is another great bridal boutique that has a little more of a traditional feel to it but each collection has its own special characteristics that make the dresses stand out.

Now if you are not a health nut or you are not in the market for a wedding dress, Union Street also has a wide range of other apparel, accessories and home boutiques. There is a great mix of local as well as chain stores all along Union. While most of the stores are small exclusive stores or local big names like BCBG MaxAzria, Kit & Ace, LF and others line Union.
