Charles Street is a nice place to shop in Boston for local boutiques and antiques. There are a bunch of jewelry stores that have local artist's work as well as renowned artists. Also local boutiques offer well known designers but also have merchandise from local designers. There are many antique stores with a wide range of specialties. The prices are not cheap, so be prepared and don't let the price tags scare you!
